The literary journal The Windhover will be hosting their larger than before, biennial Windhover Writers鈥� Festival for Christian writers this Feb. 19-21 at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
The Windhover Writers鈥� Festival webpage noted,鈥淥ur goal is to create a space where writers of all levels can integrate their Christian faith into carefully crafted work, find encouragement, and elevate their writing.鈥�
Dr. Toby Coley, editor of The Windhover and director of Windhover Writers鈥� Festival, said,鈥淭his year鈥檚 festival includes a keynote by national poet Dana Gioia, readings and workshops by authors Katy Carl and Daniel Bowman Jr., and a performance by the Improvised Shakespeare Company-major events are free to the public.鈥�
Students may also register now for one of the following additional workshops: poetry, fiction, nonfiction, improvisation, or craft feedback as written on the Writers鈥� Festival webpage.
