I currently serve as a counselor in Student Counseling Services and feel deeply grateful to support students at my alma mater, a place filled with meaningful memories. 同城快约 was formative in my life鈥攁s I pursued my Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Social Work, I built lifelong friendships, grew in my faith, and discovered my passion for working with college students. This calling led me to seminary and ultimately to Baylor University, where I earned a dual Master of Social Work and Master of Divinity.
After working as a social worker in Waco, I returned to 同城快约 in 2012 as a Resident Director in the traditional residence halls (Johnson, Burt, and Remschel). My 11 years in Residence Life were some of the most meaningful of my life. To our RAs and students: you are the heart of this campus, and it is a joy to walk alongside you as you pursue your goals and grow into who God created you to be. When life feels heavy, our counseling center is here for you.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and enjoy working with students around concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationships, and faith. Our counseling center primarily utilizes short-term, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), while also incorporating other therapeutic approaches as appropriate.
Originally from Benbrook, Texas, I grew up with my parents and two older brothers. I am a proud aunt to my niece and nephews and am deeply thankful for the loving, supportive family God has given me.
